It is important that children have a suitable place for toys that represent animals or humans. Each animal or human figure represent the real animal or person in the child’s mind. Figures that are jumbled up represent chaos in nature.
The farmhouse assortment provides a farmhouse large enough to house all of the figures that are included, with plenty of room for your child’s expanding collection. On one side of the farmhouse is a place for the farmer and his wife to live, the opposite side is a comfortable resting place for the cows and pigs and then there is a loft for the rooster to nest. (In the U.S. we usually have separate buildings for animals and people, but in Germany you can find homes set up similarly to this Ostheimer Farmhouse.)
