The organic Moses Basket mattress has a 1.5”
thick natural rubber core, surrounded by our certified organic wool
puddle pad fabric (unlike conventional Moses Basket pads that are made
from synthetics with added chemical fire retardants). All of Dandelion
Summers'
organic mattresses meet national flame retardant laws, including
California’s, which is the strictest. All of our organic
mattresses pass all CPSC safety guidelines. Our organic Moses basket
sheets are made from soft 330 thread count 100% organic cotton sateen.
We currently carry Moses basket accessories that
you may use with a Moses basket that you purchase separately. We can
replace the plastic covered foam mattress that comes with your basket
with a 100% natural sleeping surface for your baby, including a organic
Moses basket mattress, organic Moses basket sheets, organic wool Moses
basket puddle pads.

Standard Moses Basket Mattress:

Custom Moses Basket or Bassinet
Mattress: We can make an organic custom mattress to fit
your Moses Basket or Bassinet. Please include, in the
“Additional Comments” section the shopping cart, the exact
dimensions and shape you would like your organic mattress to be.
Normal turn around time on custom mattresses is 2-3 weeks. If you
would like, you may send a tracing of the mattress you wish to replace
and that will be used as the pattern for you mattress. Please
indicate that you wish to send a tracing in the “Additional
Comments” section and we will provide you with the information to
send it.

Moses Basket Sheet
Our organic Moses basket sheets are made from our
silky smooth 330 thread count organic cotton sateen fabric. Not
only is our cotton grown organiclly, it is also processed without the
use of harmful chemicals.
We have two sizes available, 18” x 30”
and 12” x 25”. All sheets have elastic all the way
around the bottom, so they will fit baskets a little larger or smaller
than the given dimensions.

Wool puddle pads protect the organic mattress.
They are made from 100% organic wool and are nice and soft. Our
Moses basket mattresses are now made with the puddle pad fabric as the
outer fabric. This makes a very easy to care for and healthy
mattress. However, I prefer to have a wool puddle pad on top of
the mattress to make it easy to change a soiled bed and put the baby
right back into bed, without needing to worry about cleaning the
mattress itself. Our organic wool puddle pads can be hand washed or
occasionally washed in the washing machine. Hang to dry. Choose a small
or large oval wool puddle pad or a rectangle wool puddle pad in
the standard cradle size (18 x 36 inches). The rectangle wool puddle
pad is slightly larger than the Moses basket mattress, but you can tuck
in the corners. This size can also be used on your changing table, in a
cradle and is a great size for travel. Read more about our organic wool puddle
