A note about our certified organic cotton: The organic cotton used in our organic crib mattresses and baby bedding is grown and processes organically. Our organic cotton is grown and manufactured in India in accordance with fair trade practices. Indian organic cotton is a long staple cotton which allows it to be tightly woven. Because it is hand picked, our organic cotton does not include cotton seeds which can add flecks and oils to machine picked organic cotton.  The organic cotton is also processed in a certified organic textile factory.  The organic cotton is thus uncontaminated from synthetic and non-organic fibers. No synthetic finishes are added to the organic cotton fabric.
