Our organic
infant mattresses are made in a
variety of popular sizes so that you can throw out that vinyl foam
mattress and give your new baby a safe, comfortable mattress for his or
her first months of life. We now have Dandelion Summers organic baby
mattresses in
two styles, one with our organic
cotton quilted outer fabric and one with our organic wool puddle pad fabric as
the outer fabric. All of our organic baby mattresses are made of
a 1” plus natural rubber core. The organic cotton quilted
outer mattresses are surrounded by PureGrow
wool and covered with an European organic cotton outer fabric.
The organic wool outer mattresses are made by covering the natural
rubber core with our organic wool puddle pad fabric. All of our
organic mattresses meet national flame retardant laws, including
California’s. All of our organic mattresses pass all CPSC safety
guidelines.
Our organic mattresses are very pure just
like your baby.
There are no added chemicals
(seemingly benign or not) used to make our organic mattresses water or
fire proof. Our organic mattresses are naturally
flame-retardant because there is sufficient wool used (wool is
naturally flame-retardant). Because there are no additives used to make
the mattresses water-proof, we always recommend the use of a wool
puddle pad. (An exception to this is our organic wool outer
infant
mattress. Because they do not have cotton, wool pads are not necessary,
but extremely convenient, especially when there is a
middle-of-the-night leaky diaper!) Our organic wool puddle pads
are very easy to care for and can even be put in the washing machine.
In addition, our manufacture uses the only natural rubber that
has been third party tested free of benzene.

and organic sheets to fit all of our organic
baby mattresses. You may order the organic baby bedding as a set,
