Each figure is beautifully painted with
vibrant, nontoxic water based acrylic paints. The figures are
given an additional water-based topcoat as a protection from
perspiration and saliva. The grain of the wood is still visible
after painting, preserving the character of the wood.
Holztiger keeps the form of the toys to a
minimum. The minamilistic forms stimulate your children’s
imagination as they bring the figures to life.
Holztiger wooden figures are made of solid
hard wood. Most of the figures are made of maple, which is hard,
durable and has an attractive graining. Oak, beech and birch are
also used, depending on the requirements.
