The Baby Signs®
Board Books are excellent resources to reinforce the Baby Signs® you teach your baby. These are
wonderful books with clear pictures featuring multicultural
children. Each word is given a double page spread. On the
left side is the word and several pictures of the word. On the right
side is a picture of a baby demonstrating the sign with simple
instructions on making the sign. On the last double page spread
are pictures from the book that can be used as a sign review. I wish
that I had used these books when teaching my older daughter infant
signing. We got these books for her younger sister when she was two and
talking very well. Even though she hadn’t done any signs in some
time, she loved the books and would do the signs as she looked through
them. She would say that she was “working” on her
“baby signs®”. These
have been a great help in teaching my younger daughter signs and she
loves them! Now Big Sister is “reading” and demonstrating
the signs for her little sister.
